Personal Statement
Engr. Femi Olafunmiloye is a native of Odigbo in Odigbo Local Government Area. He is well educated, both locally and internationally, and has excelled in his chosen career.
He comes from a humble background and is a proud member of the renowned Olafunmiloye family in Odigbo Kingdom. His late father was an educationist who served as a principal in Igbara Oke. A true lover of his community, he used his position to enroll many Odigbo indigenes into his school, providing them with accommodation and meeting their needs. As one of the elites of Odigbo at the time, he leveraged his influence at the Ministry of Education, with the community’s help, to establish Isero Grammar School in 1976.
The late F. O. Olafunmiloye was appointed the pioneer principal of the school. He was gentle, kind, loving, and generous. Under his leadership, Isero Grammar School became one of the best in Ondo State. The community held him in high esteem, and he later contested for a seat in the Ondo State House of Assembly and won. He was subsequently elected Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly.
